Operated hydraulic mobile cranes for commercial, industrial, and larger residential lifts across Calgary and the surrounding area — sized to the lift and delivered with a qualified operator.
A mobile crane is the workhorse of most Calgary lifts — truck-mounted, road-legal, and quick to set up on a prepared site. The right unit depends on three things: how heavy the load is, how far out it has to reach (radius), and how high it has to go. We read those off a capacity chart, not off the side of the truck, so the crane that shows up actually has the chart to do your lift at your radius.
Common mobile-crane work around the city includes setting structural steel and beams on commercial builds, placing rooftop HVAC units and condensers, lifting roof trusses, positioning precast, and handling material where a forklift or boom truck can't reach. If the load is heavy, the radius is long, or the ground is prepared and firm, a mobile crane is usually the answer.
The more you can tell us up front, the tighter the quote and the smoother the day. Weight of the heaviest piece, how far the crane has to reach from where it can safely set up, the lift height, the ground conditions, and your date. A couple of site photos answer more questions than a paragraph ever will.
Our mobile cranes are operated — they come with a qualified operator and a rigging plan, and we carry the tickets and insurance for the lift. Certificates of insurance with additional-insured wording are available for plant and general-contractor sites on request.
Larger mobile and rough-terrain units commonly run roughly $225–$550+/hr (CAD) in the Calgary area depending on tonnage class, with mobilization and minimums. Typical guidance — not a quote.
Send the weight, radius, and site access — we'll size the right unit and send a written quote.
