Getting a hot tub into the backyard usually means lifting it over a fence, a garage, or the house. We do exactly that — a quick, operated picker-truck lift that puts your tub where it needs to go.
Most Calgary backyards have no way to roll a hot tub in — there's a fence, a narrow side yard, or a detached garage in the way. The answer is to fly it over with a crane. A picker truck is almost always the right tool: it's nimble, sets up on the street or driveway in minutes, and lifts the tub up and over the obstacle onto a prepared pad. It's a fast, often one-hour job once the crane is on site.
We handle both ends of it — placing a brand-new tub on delivery day, or relocating an existing one (and, if you're replacing it, lifting the old tub out first). Hot tub retailers and delivery crews often don't crane the tub themselves, so this is a call homeowners make separately. We come with the crane and a qualified operator; you just need the tub and the pad ready.
The lift is straightforward, but the details decide the quote. Send us: the tub's size and roughly how much it weighs (empty), what it has to clear (fence, garage, or house — and how tall), and where the crane can set up (street, driveway, or alley). A photo of the yard and the obstacle answers almost everything. With that we'll confirm the right unit and give you a flat written quote.
Make sure the pad or deck is built and ready, the path for the tub is clear, and there's room for the truck to set up with a clear line over the obstacle. Overhead power lines are the one thing that can stop a lift — if there are wires between the setup spot and the yard, tell us up front so we can plan around them.
Most hot tub lifts are a quick picker-truck job with a short minimum. Send a yard photo and we'll quote it flat.
